01 · Company & OEM/ODM services

What is LAEYO?

LAEYO (Laiyue Biological Group) is a cosmetics OEM/ODM manufacturer in Guangzhou, China. We provide private label and contract manufacturing for skincare, body care, hair care, personal care, fragrance and colour cosmetics. We work with startups, growing brands, retailers and distributors — from formula selection and development to packaging, production and shipment.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM?

OEM is for brands that already have a formula, specification or reference sample and need a manufacturing partner. ODM is for brands that need help with formula selection, development or customisation. We discuss both, and we will tell you which one your project actually needs.

What products can you manufacture?

Facial care, body care, hair care, fragrance, men’s care, eye care, lip care, sun care, baby and mother care, and colour cosmetics. Availability depends on the formulation, process, packaging and the regulations of your target market.

What types of businesses do you work with?

Startups launching a first product, established brands extending a range, retailers building private label lines and distributors sourcing customised products. Our services are B2B only.

Do you provide private label manufacturing?

Yes. Choose a stock formula, apply your brand and artwork, and we handle filling, packing and documentation. Share your brand concept, category, target market and estimated quantity to start.

02 · MOQ, pricing & samples

What is your MOQ?

Typically 1,000 units per SKU for stock formulas and standard packaging, 3,000+ for custom packaging or colour cosmetics, and 100–200 kg for bulk. The real minimum depends on the pack and the process — ask and we will confirm it honestly.

How do you calculate the price?

Quotations are based on formula, raw materials, packaging, decoration, order quantity and testing requirements. Stock formulas in standard packaging cost less than custom development with special packaging. Share product type, size, packaging, quantity and market for an accurate quote.

Can I request samples before a bulk order?

Yes. Samples can be prepared from an existing formula or developed to your brief. Sample and development fees, freight and any credit toward a bulk order are confirmed before we start.

Can I start with a small order?

Often yes. Stock formulas in standard packaging can start at 1,000 units. Custom packaging and colour cosmetics carry higher minimums because of component MOQs.

What do you need to quote?

Category, formula or reference, size and packaging preference, estimated quantity, target market, reference photos or samples, and target price if you have one. Partial information is fine — we can work from an idea.

03 · Formula development & customisation

Do I need my own formula to start?

No. You can start with a product idea. We can select from the library, develop a custom formula, or evaluate a reference sample you provide.

Can I choose from your existing formulas?

Yes. 10,000+ established formulas are available as a starting point, with texture, fragrance and active adjustments. Final specifications are confirmed through sample approval.

Can you develop a custom formula?

Yes. Share product type, desired benefits, preferred ingredients, texture, fragrance and price positioning. We review feasibility and discuss sampling, testing and timing.

Can you reproduce a product from my sample?

We can evaluate a reference product and develop a comparable one, subject to technical feasibility. An exact match is not guaranteed, and development must respect intellectual property and regulatory requirements.

Can you manufacture with my own formula?

Yes. Share the formula, technical documentation, specifications, quantity and packaging. We review feasibility, ingredient availability and compliance before production.

04 · Packaging & brand customisation

Can you manufacture under my brand name?

Yes. Private label is a core service: product selection or development, logo application, label and packaging customisation, and production.

Can I customise bottle, jar, label and outer packaging?

Yes — bottles, jars, tubes, caps, pumps, sprayers, labels and cartons. Standard components offer more flexibility; custom colours, finishes or exclusive tooling require higher MOQs and longer lead times.

Can I use my own packaging design?

Yes. Provide artwork, logo, dielines and technical files. We check production suitability and confirm dimensions, materials and print method before mass production.

Can you help with labels and artwork?

We coordinate artwork requirements and packaging specifications. Labelling rules vary by country, so final artwork and regulatory text must be reviewed and approved before printing.

05 · Manufacturing, quality & compliance

What is your manufacturing process?

Requirement discussion, formula selection or development, sample approval, packaging confirmation, compliance review, mass production with quality checks, then packing and shipment. The exact workflow varies by product.

How do you ensure product quality?

Raw material checks, in-process inspections, finished product evaluation, packaging checks and product testing. Acceptance criteria depend on the formula, intended use, regulation and customer requirements.

Can you provide certificates and regulatory documents?

Depending on the market: specifications, ingredient information, test reports, safety documentation and manufacturing information. The EU, UK and US each require different steps; tell us your category and market and we will confirm what is available.

Can you manufacture semi-finished products or bulk?

Yes, for suitable projects. Tell us whether you need bulk, semi-finished goods, filling only, or another stage. MOQ and pricing depend on the project.

Can you improve my existing formula?

Yes. We evaluate texture, sensory profile, fragrance, ingredient selection and stability, then propose changes with feasibility and testing requirements.

06 · Lead time, shipping & markets

How long does production take?

Sampling 7–10 days per round; production 25–35 days after artwork and deposit; plus transit. We confirm the schedule after reviewing your requirements.

Do you support international shipping?

Yes. Methods and costs depend on destination, weight, product type and transport requirements. Provide destination, category and quantity and we will review options.

Can you ship perfume?

Alcohol-containing perfume may be regulated as dangerous goods depending on formulation, transport mode and destination. Additional documentation or approved carriers may be required. Share destination, size and quantity so we can check.

Which markets do you serve?

Primarily Europe and the United States, with projects in Asia and the Middle East. Regulations, ingredient restrictions and labelling rules vary, so each project is evaluated for its intended market.

Ready to develop your own products?

Share your product idea, target market, packaging preference and estimated quantity. Our team will review the project and outline the next steps — usually within one working day.
