Not every brand wants finished goods. If you already operate a filling line, or your market makes importing finished product expensive, semi-finished supply is usually the better economics: we manufacture the bulk, you fill and pack locally.
What we supply
- Bulk emulsion, gel, serum or dispersion in 25 kg, 50 kg or 200 kg drums, or in totes
- Concentrate that you dilute and adjust at your site, where the chemistry allows
- Fragrance compound or colour base supplied separately for local blending
- Bulk with or without preservative, depending on your filling conditions
Why brands choose it
Freight. Shipping water across an ocean is expensive. A drum of concentrate can represent several times its weight in finished product.
Duty and regulation. Many markets assess finished cosmetics differently from bulk chemical intermediates. Your customs broker should confirm, but the difference can be material.
Speed to a local launch. Local filling means local packaging, local artwork and local lead times, without waiting for an international shipment of finished cases.
Existing assets. If you already own a filling line, using it is cheaper than paying us to use ours.
What you must be able to do
Semi-finished supply puts the filling, sealing and often the labelling step in your hands, which means you carry the quality responsibility for those steps. We will ask about your filling environment, your water quality if you dilute, and your microbiological controls. If those are not in place, finished goods is the safer route and we will say so.
Documentation
Each bulk batch ships with a certificate of analysis covering appearance, pH, viscosity, odour and microbiological status, plus the master formula reference and the specification the batch was made to. Shelf-life and storage conditions are stated on the drum label and in the technical data sheet.
Tell us your filling format and target market at the quoting stage — both change the preservative strategy, and getting that right at the bulk stage is far cheaper than correcting it after you have filled ten thousand units.
