Packaging decides whether a formula survives its shelf life and whether the product looks worth its price. We source, decorate and test it alongside the formula, so the two are not discovered to be incompatible three weeks before shipment.
What we source
- Bottles and jars in PET, PETG, PP, acrylic and glass
- Tubes: ABL, PBL, PE and laminated, with flip-top, screw or nozzle caps
- Droppers, pumps, mist sprayers, disc-top caps and dropper inserts
- Airless and pump systems for actives that need protection from air and light
- Sticks and compacts for lip and colour cosmetics
- Secondary packaging: folding cartons, labels, shrink sleeves, pouches
Decoration options
Silk screen, hot stamping, offset printing, spray coating, soft-touch coating, metallisation, frosting, and label application. Minimums vary by method — silk screen on a stock bottle is viable at low volume, custom-moulded components are not.
Compatibility testing
This is the part most suppliers skip. A formula that performs perfectly in the lab can attack a PET bottle, migrate plasticiser out of a tube, or lose its fragrance to an incompatible liner. Before production we run a compatibility test: filled units stored at elevated temperature for a defined period, checked for weight loss, deformation, colour change, odour change and formula stability.
If a component fails, we change the component, not the claim. Cheaper than a recall.
Moulds and custom components
Existing moulds keep cost and lead time down. A custom mould is possible for brands with volume to justify it, with tooling lead time typically 25–40 days and tooling cost amortised across the order. We will tell you honestly when a stock component plus good decoration will achieve the same shelf presence for a fraction of the cost.
How it fits with manufacturing
Packaging can be sourced as part of a private label or contract manufacturing project, or independently if you already have a production partner. Sourcing it together is usually cheaper and always simpler, because the fill line trial covers the whole system rather than half of it.
